It has come to my attention lately that we have some people in the small corner of the internet that we congregate in that do think on us very fondly. This blog will address those people out there.

I just want to say, first and foremost, that I will not be publishing names or calling out hating clans, because you know who you are, and pretty much, one, two, three, and four years from now when people are reading through the blog archives, the clans that are active enough to still be haters will not be named the same. Rest assured, however, that the object of their disgust will still be CerealKillaz.

What they don't know is that CerealKillaz has been around in some form since the inception of the online version of Magic Online, way back when we still called it MODO. That's 2002 for those of you that don't know.

So, their major complaint about CK usually seems to be something about the quality of play they see from our members, or the fact that we invite noobies to the game into an established clan, which is against most top-tier clans's policy. This is something about CK that will not change. Some of our strongest current members started out as noobs, just like you did. The thing that is important here is character, and we have systems in place to weed out those with bad character.

So, to all you haterz out there, continue to say whatever the fuck it is you think you need to say to us. It continues to be just inspiration for us to find new ways to piss you off.

And to all you loyal CKz out there, continue to do your best to team up and beat the shit out of anybody that has the audacity to pretend they got big enough balls to sit across from you at the table. Just don't quit the games if their balls measure up, yo, and you'll still be welcome back tomorrow, victorious or not. Also, remember to win on your terms, the way you enjoy playing the game.

Yo, how you Killaz doing? I just needed to bring to your attention the latest fad going around MTGO, which is to be a CerealKillaz Member. The problem is that some people just don't qualify, and a large number of these people have decided that they will just make a clan called "CerealKillaz [ENTER STUPID CHAPTER NAME HERE]" and attempt to live off our fame (or infamy, whichever you like to use here). The funny part about it is that they have actually caused a spur in recruitment.

Now, we here in the leadership have a pretty good idea who it is that is behind most of this stuff, and we're really not too concerned about the offending parties, but we thought the regular clan members (and anyone that sees these fakes running around) should be informed about how to tell the difference between a "real" and a "fake" CerealKillaz clan, whereby I use "real" to designate those clan chapters that are accepted by the leadership group that not only strives hard to maintain THE MOST ACTIVE PLAYGROUP ON MTGO, but also creates and commissions the latest skins for MTGO, operates this site, its related voice chat server, its related email server, and its integrated instant messaging service; and I use "fake" to designate those bitch ass motherfuckers that start a clan called CerealKillaz just to run around and act like buffoons and make people laugh. The way to tell is fairly simple. ALL legitimate CerealKillaz chapter names will start with the word CerealKillaz, be followed by a space, and then have the chapter name directly after it surrounded by our clan colors. An example follows(including all the legitimate chapters currently open):

	CerealKillaz Domination

	CerealKillaz Ninjaz

	CerealKillaz Deathrow

	CerealKillaz Oblivion

Whereas the following list will show you what a fake CerealKillaz chapter name will look like, with a complete list of the current fake chapters:

	CerealKillaz 8-Ball

	CerealKillaz Knuckleheads

	CerealKillaz Lust

	CerealKillaz Snakez

	CerealKillaz Tech

[EDIT/UPDATE] following is a visual representation of what you just read:

Also, be sure to notice that if you type in "CerealKillaz" in the search box on the clan page, the real chapters will always show up on top of the list, it's like WoTC knows what's up, yo!

The good news is that I can tell the fakers what a legitimate clan name for a CerealKillaz chapter looks like, and it is impossible for them to replicate it. Thanks to Wizards of the Coast, the mana symbols and other chat symbols are no longer able to be requested in a clan name. This keeps our method pretty simple. WoTC has also released the limit on clan size, making it infinite, which gives us the ability to continue to grow without the need to create non-uniform chapter names.

Now these fake CKz are all lead by people that know their clans are not really associated with us over here. The problem is, they don't usually tell their members. So, if you see these fake CKz running around, be sure to direct them to the site, YO! Maybe they'll read this article.
